The IMIA is holding its 2009 International Conference on Medical Interpreting from October 9 -11, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge in Boston, MA. Our theme is Global Perspectives on Professional Medical Interpreters. This theme will inform participants of the different approaches to language access and the profession in different parts of the world as well as provide many informative workshops to the working interpreter.
