Submissions for the Essay Contest Closed on March 31, 2011 - thank you

Please write a 500-word detailed account of why you chose to become a medical interpreter, what you hope to accomplish while working as a professional interpreter, and what makes interpreting a rewarding field for you.

Please type essays in a double-spaced Word document and submit to
IMIAConference@imiaweb.org.

Essays must be submitted by March 31st, 2011.  Only current IMIA Members in good standing may submit an essay.

Please note:  Essay Winners will receive a free 2011 IMIA Conference Registration – this does *not* include an IMIA membership payment, or free admission to the Pre-Conference Workshop sessions.  These items need to be paid as an additional fee.
