Past IMIA certification funders include:

We are very grateful to these organizations for their support and to all our corporate members, conference sponsors and individual members, all who contributed to make medical interpreter certification a reality.

Yes, I believe that all persons, regardless of background, have the right to quality health care, and I believe that medical interpreter certification is an important step in ensuring or protecting consumers to minimally competent interpreting services in reducing health disparities due to lack of language access. Our organization is eager to participate in this effort by providing funding to be targeted specifically to completing the certification process.
