1. Complete the application for certification (To be posted here in pdf format)
2. Submit the application with the required proof of completion of pre-requisites by fax to 1-800-406-IMIA (4742) or by email to info@certifiedmedicalinterpreters.org
3. Application and documents are reviewed by IMIA Certification administrators
4. If applicant meets pre-requisites, then he/she will be a candidate for certification. If not, then the applicant will get further instructions on how to meet the pre-requisites. Candidates will be listed in the IMIA National Medical Interpreter Registry.
