Brief description:
Interpreters should incorporate good customer service skills into their practice not only as a way to demonstrate professionalism, but also to drive support for interpreter services from those most directly impacted by the service. Session participants will gain practical customer service skills to apply on-the-job in a variety of interpreted encounters. Participants will also receive resources to continue developing customer service strategies and tailor their efforts to their unique style and needs. This session is presented in English in a live, interactive, instructor-led online classroom.
