Target audience:
Interpreters in the greater Atlanta area who have previous experience interpreting in the medical setting and who wish to obtain their certificate of proficiency for medical interpretation.

Brief description:
Successful graduates of this unique course will receive a Certificate of Proficiency, where successful completion will be determined by attendance of every class and passing grades on the midterm and final examinations. Participants of this course must have previous medical interpretation experience. Registration is limited to 25 people and seats will be filled on a first come first served basis. To register, interested participants must first submit an application to the Education & Advocacy Program Coordinator.
