Target audience:
The training is designed to provide standardized skills and tools for bilingual professionals who are interested in working as professional medical interpreters in the health care setting. It also provides an opportunity for interpreters and translators, seeking to advance their continuing education and professional development.

Brief description:
Training sessions focus on interpreting skills and technique. Topics include code of ethnics, standards of practice for medical interpreters, medical terminology, role play, C.L.A.S standards and Title VI. Upon successful completion of training, participant will receive a Certificate of Successful Completion.
