Brief description:
40-hour program provides you with the theoretical, procedural, and linguistic backgrounds necessary for complying with the Medical Interpreting Standards of Practice. Successful completion will include a pre-test, mid-course assessment and end-of course oral and written examinations measuring your skills and strategies as an effective and efficient interpreter. Successful attendance of the five sessions and the course assignments will earn a Certificate of Completion and 4.0 University of Georgia Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
