Brief description:
This is a comprehensive online course designed to provide interpreters with a more efficient, convenient, and cost-effective means of improving interpreter quality. It is comprised of a combination of web-based instruction and shared learning led by live instructors. The format of the curriculum is flexible and self-paced and is both user-friendly and easy to navigate, backed by skilled technical support. It was developed by experienced health care professionals and medical interpreter trainers with an average of 20 years of experience each. 10 Continuing Education Points (CEPs) are available to trainees who complete the entire course. The Instructor-led sessions include hands-on role-playing opportunites.
