Target audience:
Interpreter trainers. Should have graduated from a certificate program of at least 40 hours, ideally in medical interpreting, and have adult education experience, preferably in medical or community interpreting. Candidates should also hold a bachelor’s degree and proof of language proficiency.




Brief description:
In 2011, Cross-Cultural Communications debuted the first national training of trainers (TOT) in medical terminology. The goal of the TOT is to prepare trainers to deliver a stimulating, intensive one-day workshop on medical terminology. Trainers who attend will be licensed to present the one-day program at will. There is no additional cost for licensing. Trainers who attend must also attend the medical terminology workshop scheduled on March 21st (the day before the TOT).
