Target audience:
Bilingual professionals with at least 1 year of college education in the US or other country. Must have good Internet skills and online access.

Brief description:
BLENDED ONSITE and ONLINE Training. Train up to 20 interpreters with just one fee. Group rate is for a maximum of 20 participants sponsored by an organization. Schedule at least 2 months in advance.

Need to train less than 20 persons? Offer the training to the community and recoup your investment. How much you charge others will be up to you.

PART 1: We emphasize anatomy and medical terminology with 50 hours of ONLINE training covering all organ systems and specialties. Major topics are available in several languages including Spanish, Arabic, Vietnamese, Somali, etc.

PART 2: 25 hours of interactive and hands-on ONSITE training on medical interpreting principles and cultural competency. Participants must pass both online and onsite portions of the program in order to receive a certificate of completion.

Specialty topics also available (Emergency Department, Oncology, Diabetes, Public Health, Mother-Baby, Delivery Room, Pediatrics, Workers Comp, etc.).

She is a cross-cultural trainer, an independent continuing education provider for nurses, and a certified online instructor in ECollege.
