Brief description:
Health Care Interpreting A.A.S. Degree - As a graduate of Waubonsee's health care interpreting program, you will understand complicated medical terminology, as well as the code of ethics and standards of practice for interpreters. Program assessment required for admission into program. (English/Spanish only)
Health Care Interpreting Certificate of Achievement - This certificate offers you the opportunity to become a fully-trained health care interpreter by completing 41 semester hours of coursework. This certificate is only offered in English and Spanish and requires program admission testing.
Health Care Interpreting Practitioner Certificate of Achievement - This certificate can be completed entirely online and can be taken by an individual who is fluent in any second language and does not require admission testing.
